For over 100 years, the West family has proudly served the healthcare needs of Sandersville and Washington County. It all began in 1920 when Walter West opened West Drug Company with a simple mission-- to provide trusted, personalized pharmacy care.

Three generations later, the family's commitment to service continues. In 1971, West Prescription Shop was opened to meet the growing needs of the community, adding Home Medical Equipment and Oxygen Support.

In 2025, both pharmacies were combined into one--West Prescription Shop--to better serve our customers under one roof. Today, we remain family-owned and locally operated, dedicated to a family tradition of care.
